oh.. a sobering thought. on tsunami d-day, dec 26, we were at the beach in PD... most elements of my closest family. i was asleep on the ground, while the others were lounging around, walking about, or fishing... if the waves were a lot stronger or happened closer to the peninsular, the outcome would have been so much more closer to home. brrrr....

back from the dead. again.

it's tsunami fever eh. such a sad piece of news, that. yet - there was so much that could be done to avert the massive amount of human loss. like, perhaps, some functioning government bodies? enough of this half-baked, tidak-apa attitude lah, time for us to wake up.

personally? i'm affected by my cancelled phuket trip! selfish as it may seem. ok there's always another day. i wish i could do much more... donated clothes and cash, havent sent food and water yet, due to current financial constraints. yup. we still have our mundane every-day problems to handle here.

oh well... til another day...
