oh my look at the time... been in the office for much of the day looking at some figures... urrggghhh... pening. eyes need a rest soon.
read with much amusement yesterday's headlines... Club raided (twas Zouk,right?), patrons locked up for up to 10 hrs, not allowed to go to the toilet (one girl even peed in her pants, poor thang, sue them bastards dry), women being ogled at, and that sorta thing. congrats JAWI, you've done it again, shoving your own foot up your stinky arse.
i'd be less pissed if they represented the qualities of the faith they're supposed to be the guardians of. instead they're turning to be the worst pervs of all, ogling, taunting, being a general pain in the ass. more so, with the badge, throwing their authority around. hey, they were the ones taking the pic of that girl taking a piss on the truck, right. straight outta pornton, homey.
this is what happens when there's politicization of religion, less secularization of state, leading to all sorts of hi-jinks, when it becomes a tool of control for the state. hmmpphh. anyone on my side here? isn't it easy to coerce people into a certain way of behaviour, all in the name of a higher being, but it's just a manifestation of human shortcomings, which is power, greed, control, distrust, and all those things we'd rather do without.
well, i gotta go home soon... clear my head, get ready for monday night highlight - futsal! yeah baby now thats something to look forward to.
